By the sapphire blue waters of the French Riviera, a decades-long secret is about to be revealed…

Wayward Greek heiress, Ariana Theodosis, inherits the Hotel du Soleil as part of a mysterious legacy。 Captivated by its faded glamour, it offers her the chance to start again。

Hotelier Gabriel du Lac’s family have owned the hotel for decades – and he has no intention of giving it up for a beautiful stranger。

Madame du Lac has watched the rich and famous pass through the doors of the hotel for almost half a century, and she has kept its secrets too。

As the past finally catches up with them all, will this summer of surprises break her silence, or are some things best forgotten?

Another fantastic read from Carol Kirkwood。Arianna inherits a hotel in Cannes in the south of France and on arrival she finds there is a lot more to this than she ever imagined。 Lots of secrets entwined with relationships。 This book kept me hooked from start to finish and I thoroughly recommend it for a lovely summer read whether at home or on holiday。Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC in return for an honest review。 It was an absolute pleasure。

This is Carol's second book and it's even better than the first。Ariana has been left a hotel in her grandmother's will。 She has been drifting along in life and decides to head to the French Riviera and the hotel。 She meets the current occupier Gabriel and the sparks fly。 Why has she been left the hotel? There are plenty of questions that need answering especially as the previous owner Madame Du Luc has never left her room in twenty years。 I loved all the glamour of the Riviera and of course all This is Carol's second book and it's even better than the first。Ariana has been left a hotel in her grandmother's will。 She has been drifting along in life and decides to head to the French Riviera and the hotel。 She meets the current occupier Gabriel and the sparks fly。 Why has she been left the hotel? Another triumphant novel by Carol Kirkwood! Loved it, as I was transported into the world of A-list celebrities in Cannes。 Spoilt little rich kids, fraught relationships and lots of drama。 Perfect summer reading, catching a glimpse of the Mediterranean’s clear waters and cloudless sky, mingling with satin and silk and bejewelled movie stars。 To say anymore might spoil this little mystery for others, suffice to say, well done Carol, when’s book three rolling off the press? My thanks to NetGalley a Another triumphant novel by Carol Kirkwood! I was pleasantly suprised that the Theodosis family popped up again and that other family faces and places were in this latest novel。Carol is amazing at setting the scene, and you are transported to the French Riviera。 The book is dripping with glamour and rich and famous stars are scattered throughout the book。 The passi As soon as I saw this book on Netgalley I knew I had to have it!
